After years of fundraising and a Heritage Lottery Fund grant in 2016 repairs finally began, and continued for six years.

Now the Castle is transitioning from a renovation project to a commercial operation - in the midst of unforeseen economic headwinds.  

The Castle has to be self-funding - and Castles are expensive to run!
